About Osteopathy
Osteopathy works with the structure and function of the body and is a system of treatment for a wide range of conditions. Osteopaths' work to restore your body to a state of balance without the use of drugs or surgery. The use of palpation, physical manipulation, stretching and soft tissue techniques is heavily relied upon to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the nerve and blood supply to tissues and to aid the bodys' own healing. They also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
